Miro
Meet Stretch! We had a super time creating this character for Miro.
Aldi
We were thrilled to create two new puppet characters for Aldi Spain's latest campaign. The characters, named AL + DI, are the stars of the ads. They can be seen on TV commercials, print and socials.
Vodafone
We were delighted to create this little elf toy for Vodafone's 2023 Christmas campaign. Titled 'Elf Trap', the film follows a girl who attempts to catch Santa on Christmas eve with the help of her favourite toy elf. The film will be broadcast throughout the Christmas season.
Marmite
It's been a busy few months at the studio with many exciting projects, including this one - Marmite! We designed and built the two characters for Marmite's latest campaign entitled 'Tips for First Timers'. We loved working with acclaimed director, Guy Shelmerdine on this awesome project. Hofmeister: George the Bear
It was our huge honour to be asked to recreate the iconic George the Bear from the classic 80's Hofmeister beer commercials. We made the new George bear head and body parts including animatronic eye movmements. Hofmeister has released a new campaign, with a revamp of George himself. The result is a series of cool, contemporary photography, currently being displayed on the billboards at the Piccadilly Lights, London. Read more in our case studies here.
In The Studio
It's been a busy few months here at the studio and we have some exciting projects due to be released soon. For now, here is a recent creature suit we created of a 7ft big foot character. He features a custom 4 way stretch speciality fur and latex mask with individual hair punched details.
British Arrows - Vestiaire Collective
Last year, our team created this group of five puppets, for Droga5's global campaign for fashion platform Vestiaire Collective. The TV commercial, directed by Andreas Nilsson, has been nominated for two British Arrows awards. Hats off to everyone who was part of this great project.
TV Commercial for BCC
Check out one of our latest works – Barry! We had the pleasure of working with Creature Amsterdam to develop, design and build a new brand ambassador for Netherlands based retailer BCC. Creating three versions of Barry, he comes complete with raising eyebrows and his own set of custom clothing. He will be featuring on TV commercials, online and more.
G2 Esports
The middle of last year saw us embark on this project with global gaming company, G2 Esports. We were commissioned to make five portrait puppets, made in the likeness of their 'League of Legends' team members. We created sculpted hand and rod puppets and gave each character their own unique personality through carefully considered facial designs, finished off with bespoke costumes provided on the client's side. The film appeared across G2 Esports social media platforms, resulting in a great marketing solution.
McFly UK Tour
One of our recent projects was for the global phenomena that is the band McFly. After hand sculpting their mascot, Pistola Bear, we were able to see our work hit the big screen at Wembley Arena during their current 2021 tour! This bear had lots of bespoke elements and had to look like Puppets Magic Studio had just breathed life into McFly’s bear. For more details please see our Case Study here. Filming With Puppets
Our studio has been packed with new exciting projects which we can reveal soon... For now, here is an outtake shot from one of our latest filming sessions. This is a sculpted humanoid character. Almost everything about this puppet has been custom made for the project, including 3D printed eyes, bespoke costume and wig.
Puppet Studio: Our Latest Build
Here's the latest character to be made by our puppet company here in East London. This lookalike puppet was given a custom made hairstyle and bespoke costume.
Just Eat Advert
At the end of last year we had the pleasure to work on a new Just Eat TV ad with Snoop Dogg, providing this bespoke dog character. The commercial was broadcast on TV throughout the Christmas period. You can read more about our process on our Case Studies page.
No Strings Attached
We had the pleasure of building these two puppet characters of these racing drivers for a new online series. These are foam and fleece puppets which we constructed here at our studio, as well as tailoring the mini racing suits.
Neighborhood Goliath
Last month we were asked to create this puppet head for Neighborhood Goliath's new music video. This sculpted puppet was built by our team in London and fabricated to include a fade haircut and facial hair to complete the puppet's look. We had an awesome time building this guy.
Blauer Bock
Here is our latest character, designed for German apfelwein company Blauer Bock. We worked with the client to build a new mascot for their new campaign. The character will feature across their social and website content.
A New Humanoid Puppet Design
Here we have one of our sculpted humanoid characters. We spent much time in the design phase balancing the simplicity of shapes along with a characterful design. Our brief also requested a fairly neutral look, so we implemented black bead eyes, along with a reduced colour scheme.
Walk about the Town
We recently assisted on this photoshoot in London. This character was designed with a custom made wig, moustache and goatee.
Hipster dude
One of the many puppets we have had the pleasure of designing this year. Here you can see the work in progress of this male puppet - just after punching in his custom wig and short back and sides hairstyle.
Animatronic Dog Puppet
We built this animal character with a natural fibre that was custom made for our project. The puppet features animatronic blinking eyes. The photo above is during the making process in our studio, just before the limbs are attached.
A Yellow Alien
Here is one of our latest puppet designs, built for an independent film based in the USA. Our central London team are located a short distance from the city and conveniently close by to many major production studios - get in touch today to discuss your next character concept.
🐾 Bark 🐾
This furry guy is one of our latest puppet sculpts. Our team custom cast a squidgy dog nose and bottom lip, as well as creating a bespoke set of blue eyes. His fur is super soft plush!
Invasion of the Aliens!
Over the past year we have had the pleasure of working on a number of alien characters, including this unusual fellow. We sculpted this character for our client and cast his head and limbs in latex. The final puppet was airbrushed to effect and given a pair of custom made eyes.
Lookalike Custom Puppet Characters
We often create puppets in the likeness of people as in this recent example! Our trained sculptors have the ability to capture the essence of the person in puppet form - like all our creations, these are entirely crafted by hand to high specification in our London based studio. A Royally Inspired Puppet
We were recently commissioned to create a cariactured puppet of the Queen. For this regal character, we hand made every detail - from her custom tailored signature yellow coat right down to her bespoke hat with ribbon and floral detail.

Our team had a great time designing and building this quirky character.
Photoshoot
This throwback photoshoot from last year was taken around East London. The concept for the character herself, was a contemporary, modern design. The head and torso were sculpted, allowing for subtler features such as a small mouth with carved lips. The structure of the puppet was designed to be lightweight and highly functional, making changing costumes and other elements fast and easy.

Here is one of our latest puppet sculpts, straight out of our studio. Our puppet builder gave this female character a set of custom made eyes and carved facial features.
Furry Monster
One of the latest characters built by our studio. Featuring a unique custom made fur covering, our puppet makers created a cast latex nose and two big blue custom built eyes.
Woof
It's been a busy few months here in the studio. Here is one of the many projects we have been involved with. For this we designed and built a bespoke dog puppet character. The nose and lip were custom cast for the project, as well as the cable controlled eye and ear movement.
The Late-ish Show with Rosie Beaver
At the end of last year, we had the pleasure of building 'Rosie Beaver', the host of the live chat show 'The Late-ish Show' at the Phoenix Artist Club, London. The guests interviewed by puppet Rosie herself, included actor Helen Lederer and west end star Marisha Wallace.
Trump
In one of our recent projects, we were asked to design and build a Donald Trump style puppet! Here is the result, complete with signature blonde hair, USA flag pin and of course, small hands!
CHEETOS - Chester Cheetah
We can finally reveal some of our projects from earlier this year. One of these is Cheetos. We were commissioned to build 'Chester Cheetah', the mascot for the cheesy crisp brand. He will be used for a viral advertising campaign for the European strand of Cheetos and you can head over to Cheetos Poland Facebook page here to view some of the videos.
